Library has a reading technology for the visually impaired users. It has one Lex-poratble camera reading system and a notebook computer.

The Library collection is accessible through WEB OPAC (Intranet). Library is well equipped with bar coded technology and fully automated . College library has AC reading room with suitable furniture and has a seating capacity of 70 users.
Gargi college library was established in 1967. It creates the peaceful environment for reading and recreational purpose. It has rich collection of science, Arts and Humanities study material. It has a vast collection of Text books, General books, journals, newspapers, CDs, Magazines etc.

During the academic session 2013-14, 1,63,710 documents were consulted by users in library.
Gargi college library also maintains a feedback register In which library users gives their opinion regarding library collection, services and functions, etc.
